Elvis' owner really puts his horses to work!  I love this cool picture -- taken on 7/21/10 on the trails at Stone River in Tennessee.

"Elvis" -- The sweetest, most compliant, gentle, willing horse you'll meet.  This sweetheart is only 3 years old, but probably anyone any age would feel comfortable and safe on him.  He has been ridden the last 6 months all over Kentucky and Tennessee, and will begin his 'Texas' career now.  This horse has personality, and you can probably see it in the pictures.  He performs a beautiful, soft racking gait, will go slow or a bit of a thrilling speed, and then as a bonus, a soft, easy, athletic canter.  Comes from Kentucky Mountain Horse stock but not registered in any way at this time.  $3950

Huey rides Elvis in Tennessee on 7/22/10, working on polishing his headset with the use of double reins.  This horse is much too sweet, smooth and gentle to be a chunk of coal for very long -- we're gonna make a diamond out of him!

I'm riding Dealer (the black ears in this picture) while taking pictures and video, and that's Huey ahead of me on the little grey horse "Lil Johnny", and Corbett in the lead on "Elvis" on the trails at Stone River in Tennessee on 7/21/10.

Horse training and halter tying in progress here.  We're letting Elvis cool off after his workout while we teach him to ground tie (without eating grass).  Cody is learning to tie natural horsemanship (Clinton Anderson style) rope halters, and Elvis seems really interested.

"You're not gonna put that thing on me, are you?  It doesn't match my beautiful bridle and breast strap!"

The man who raised this horse, training him for speed racking.  They have beautiful style here.  We brought him to Texas now and we're training him to set his head via natural horsemanship training methods, by flexing, check and release.  Stay tuned for the diamond that he will be!
