THIS is what we do. We recently put together a "reunion/refresher" camp, which several previous customers brought their horses to, rode with us, we offered pointers and helped with any issues they might have questions about, and had a very, very LARGE time! "Caper's War Eagle" -- Strikingly handsome eye-popping black and white spotted tobiano 15.3H 3-1/2-yr-old Tennessee Walking Horse gelding, gentle as a lamb, with very much a puppy dog disposition. He is sired by "Alen's Caper", which is a direct son of the great "Shadows Spotted Alen" and out of a "Delight Bumin' Around" mare (who was known for producing great broodmares), and his dam is "Prides Generator" and "Spotted Alen Again", producer of many World Champions and World Grand Champions, going back to the famous World Grand Champion "Pusher".

This horse has had an extensive round pen foundation training and then slowly brought along, gently and easily. He has never known any abuse, neglect and was never allowed to develop any bad behavorial habits. His gait is like floating across the ground -- extremely smooth like glass. He's a big boy and still growing -- we believe he will not only be 16H at maturity, but spread out with a stock horse type chest and hindquarters. $8500

This sensible sweetheart has a beautiful conformation, nice bone structure, sloping shoulder, round hip, long swan neck, two gorgeous blue eyes, and his tail is white with a black streak in it. At 18 months of age, he was 15H, so we are expecting a full 16H maturity height. War Eagle's gait is naturally four-beat and smooth, and his canter is really nice, athletic. We call him our "City Boy", because he comes up from the pasture with the cattle and other horses every morning and stands at the gate, begging to be let in for breakfast. When we turn him out at night, he actually hangs around like he hopes to go to the house with us, and you can walk out to the pasture anywhere he is and lead him back to the barn by his lower jaw, no halter needed. War Eagle is very good natured and apparently has an excellent horse personality, because all the other horses tolerate him even when he's pestering them. We are raising him right, with lots of exposure to dogs, highway traffic, turkeys, chickens, tractors, bulldozers, mean old mares, cattle.

This sharp looking Tennessee Walking Horse gelding has been trained with natural horsemanship methods, knows how to flex, back, yield front and hindquarters, drive with surcingle and long lines, stand tied for hours, load/unload in a trailer, handle his feet, bathe, clip.

We have taken War Eagle on several camping trips and trail rides now, and found that not much alarms him. When you sit in the saddle, you just feel safe, because you know that he doesn't have a mean or rebellious bone in his body. His gaits are feather light, gliding and floating across the ground. $8500

And then poor Lad gives up and runs away from the little pest, but he can't get rid of the pesky pest no matter how far he runs!

There he goes again, trying to find a new victim.
